Professional Advisory
Instructional technology and academic technology staff carry a lot of decisions alone: evaluating a product, procurement, LMS assessment, WCAG and ADA obligations, FERPA requirements, academic integrity policy, analytics interpretation, onboarding and training design, technology change management. Often there is simply no one else on staff who is made that particular call before.
Professional Advisory is consultation on those decisions, outside your institutional reporting lines. Sessions run one to two hours and address whatever the client brings in. No formal deliverable gets produced. Many institutions arrange these through professional development funding.
Assessments and Audits
Some questions need a formal, documented answer rather than a conversation: whether a platform meets an accessibility standard, how an LMS is being used relative to what it provides, how an academic integrity process is holding up, what a data privacy review would find, what a campus is spending on technology and where it is going.

Project Work
Procurement cycles, institutional initiatives, and compliance requirements touch faculty, administration, academic professionals, and students all at once, and a recommendation only holds up if it survives contact with all four constituencies and fits how the institution governs itself.
Wrightmann conducts structured work across every affected group, on campus, remotely, or in combination, to map current and intended use, weigh compliance against ADA and Department of Education regulation and FERPA, develop prioritized investment recommendations with defined measures, and forecast technology need across a ten-year horizon, for longer projects we prefer at least one week on site, with institutional support for a FERPA release and a local contact. We frequently hire a student for on-campus assistance.
